How to Dress like a SKA Girl: Winter Edition

Emma Spirgel

As we all know, it is hard getting dressed in the morning. Whether we sleep past the alarm, or we just can’t decide what to wear, having to choose our outfits in the morning add an extra layer of stress that we really don’t need. So I present to you an easy guide on how to dress like SKA girl, for any type of day. A day you want to dress up because of your Torah Bowl/College Bowl/Math Meet or you’re just in the mood to dress up. Or it’s a day you’re not in the mood because it’s a day that ends in “Y”. Or whether it’s a day you wanna stick somewhere in the middle and just dress casually.

Here is how to dress like a SKA girl Winter edition.

How to Dress-Up like a SKA girl.

We all have those days when we are in the mood to dress nicer than we usually do. Whether we have a meet that day, and we’re trying to impress someone or you have an interview for a fellowship or a sem or if you really just like dressing up every day (good for you). But there is just one problem, where do I get this nice outfit? Let’s go from top to bottom, and start with the shirt.

Shirt:

The shirt for our outfit is more of a nice sweater. Either super colorful or on the darker side. You can find these anywhere really, Shein and Zara being the most popular.

Skirt:
The skirt to go with these sweaters is a simple black flowy/align or a midi straight skirt. These skirts can be found in any clothing store on central like SOX World Plus or Fame. Or online like Old Navy, Amazon, and Hard Tail.

Shoes:

On your legs you just need a simple pair of black tights, can be found on central in SOX World Plus or Legacy. For your feet a nice pair of platforms from DSW, or even Zara.

How to Dress like a Tired SKA Girl.

To balance out the days we want to dress up for, we also have the days we don’t even want to get dressed for. Days like Monday and Friday and possibly anything in between. But alas, we still have to get up, get dressed and get to school. So here is where you can find the sweaters closest to pajamas. We’ll start from top to bottom (again).

Shirt:

The shirt for our lazy-day outfit is a very chill and laid back sweatshirt or hoodie, with the name of a college, or a champion sweatshirt. These tops can be found mainly on any clothing site like Century 21 or Forever 21, or of course Champion.

Skirt:

The skirt selection for this outfit is a black maxi skirt with a slight slit in the back.

This skirt can be found at Zoey and Co. on central avenue, and Olive and Tuesday.

Shoes:
The shoes for this outfit are simple chestnut mini Uggs. Or a cute pair of slippers. These can be found on the Ugg website and probably Amazon. No tights or leggings required because of the Maxi skirt.

How to Dress like a Casual SKA Girl.

The final outfit is for all the days in between. The days we just want to get by and look kinda cute, not in like an overly chill way. But also chill enough that we don’t look too nice. Let’s Start again from top to bottom.

Shirt:
Our casual shirt is seriously just casual. A cute polka dot or striped shirt from H&M. Or a cute Wild fox sweater.
