SKA’s Journey Through Production

Production is one of the most incredible parts of SKA. This year, Production took place on Motzei Shabbos, December 30 and Sunday, December 31. Hours upon hours were put in by students to make it a one-of-a-kind show.

This year there was a vast change from past years. For the first time Production took place in the new HALB building. The auditorium in HALB is very spacious and everyone was able to comfortably watch Production. The theme of Production was Journeys – “ובלכתך בדרך”. For the first time, Production started with a short video explaining this theme. The video showed that throughout history there have been tough times, but just like in the desert Hashem said to follow Him, so too now in life we should follow Him so we know how to lead our lives. The dances in Production truly depicted this idea; they showed that times are hard and one needs to steer her way out of the hardship. The choir sang songs depicting a similar message about staying true to who we are no matter where life bring us. Comedy showed that no matter where one is, it’s good to laugh and enjoy life. Siblings, parents, cousins, grandparents and camp friends came from near and far to enjoy the many talents of SKA students.

There were so many people that made Production incredibly inspiring. Thank you to everyone who helped make it the success that it was.
